Fipa
Italiana Yachts was born at the
beginning of the 1980s together
with the first products in fiberglass,
producing hulls and structures for
the boating market which was asking
more and more for this new strong
and mouldable material.
With the first products produced
in the Massarosa yard, born on Family
Guidetti old property, Fipa enters
the world of Viareggio boating,
distinguishing itself for quality
and versatility right from the start.

During
mid-80's Fipa was determined to attack
the boating market. Benefiting by
the favourable situation, it acquired
"Maiora", one of the most
prestigious and renowned brand of
the Viareggio shipbuilding industry.
Already a symbol of notable craftsmanlike
working, the brand found in Fipa yards
a fertile ground for development and
a more and more careful search for
perfection.

At
the beginning of the 1990s, Fipa expansion
does not stop, creating new production sites
inside Viareggio port area, where since
then Fipa has made its way in the yacht
market. In those years it acquired the historical
"Intermare" shipbuilding yard
in Viareggio basin, offering a full customer
care and a wide dock in Viareggio port.

The
production of fiberglass for other
yards, still an important voice in
Fipa balance, made it soon necessary
the acquisition of new spaces: now
Fipa is one of the biggest among Viareggio
boating pole manufacturers, obtaining
orders from Marina Italiana and for
passenger transport boats.

and producing high-performance, water-jet
propelled "Open" boats,
named "AB Yachts", enters

as a small-size company, today Fipa Group
numbers more than 10 productive units, where
every single "Maiora" and "AB"
boat is born and built, and where 200 people
work, giving life to the most refined building
masterpieces of world craftsmanship with
their experience and professional skill.

Passion
for shipbuilding has always induced
Fipa to search for new materials and
new stylistic lines, to better meet
customers' demands. Every challenge
has been faced and won, in order to
produce bigger and bigger yachts.
